We've done a quick comparison of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV's rolling shutter, compared with the EOS-1D X Mark II and the Sony a6300. The results are a little disappointing.

Obviously we've panned faster than you ever sensibly would, to make the difference clearer. Sadly the 5D IV's rolling shutter isn't nearly as well controlled as the 1D X Mark II's, instead looking very similar to the Sony a6300's 24p mode.
