Patrick:
The designated elements were all used and integral to the final story. The script was stronger than the film. It fulfilled all the designated elements. But while it does address the theme, I can't help but feel there is a final ending to this story, even if we don't see it on screen - so I deducted a few points.
Robbie:
Tough subject, but I thought this was really well done - beautfiul look to the entire film and great shooting!
Steve:
This is a good story. It is cinematic. The use of the elements is good. Cinematography is excellent. Editing is excellent. Nice compositions. Good pacing.
Patrick:
I laughed. Many times. Well done! Great use of prop to support the theme. Great use of line to support the heroine's feelings. Camera work was strong and supported the comedic element. Well done! This script had all the designated elements while not locking the filmmaker into any particular filmmaking style; also, well done!
Richard:
An enjoyable script with likable characters. The pacing and use of music is well-done. The piece pulls the viewer in quickly into the relatinship. Good acting that's very expressive.
Steve:
Good use of all of the elements. The final scene is a nice wrap up of the story. The opening takes a while.
Richard:
This piece was a compelling story. I thought the revisitng of scenes as both genders was very powerful. The character was well acted. Music choices can be refined though for the second half.
Patrick:
The theme is fulfulled and the line supports the theme. The prop was irrelevant and no consequence to the story. Camera work was good. Soundtrack was excellent, with great use of sound effects. The flashback was distinctive from the rest of the film. The script is interesting and sets up a never-ending circle. But it is devoid of the Designated Prop and that heavily impacted the score.
Richard:
The film is very well-shot with compelling characters. The composition choices and editing are well-thought out and add to to the tension. This is a very good film that conveys a lot in a short period. The use of flashbacks are also well-done.
Patrick:
Terrific camera placement and shot selection. Visually, the images weren't as compelling once we got to the birthday cake scene. I almost got the sense of the never-ending interruptions but it didn't fully pay off for me so I deducted a few points off the Designated Theme score. Points were also lost for the designated prop not being fully integrated... if we cut out that short section the film would have played the same.
Richard:
I thought the mood and use of music was well-done. I found the characters to be hard to connect with however.
